Do hens really crow?

Hi
I have ust been given 2 new chicks to go with my 2 lovely 2 year old birds. i have introduced them slowly as i was told but i am now wondering if one of them is a Cockerel as my older girls seem a bit in awe of the grey one! and it has started to make a racket very early in the morning.
I think the birds are around 13-15 weeks now, the pictures were from when they were around 8 weeks, but i have no clue what breed they are or what sex.....any help would be greatly appreciated.xx

If the pictures are from when they were 8 weeks then I would guess the blue one is male and the other female. Current pictures would help. As for breeds, the blue is a mix and the brown is a Vorwerk, probably the bantam variety.

How are you guys seeing a cockerel? I see a pullet....I don't see hackle, saddle or long tail plumes. The splashes on the wings I see but that's it.

Large, red comb at only 8wks old. Red comb before 10 means male.

I wouldn't really expect full male plumage at that age. I have an Australorp cockerel that didn't get even saddles in until 16+ weeks old. The only indicator of gender was the large, red comb. He had rounded feathers up until then.

Also, the pictures are very blurry so there's a possibility there are some coming in we just can't see. Updated images will help.

I think it is a cockerel not only the red comb but size of wattles in the 8 weeks old photos. The pullet is very pretty.
