Do hens somtimes do the side steppy thing? UPDATE pic #7

PLEASE tell me that is NOT a roo, because I have one that looks just like that. It HAS to be a hen. It HAS to be a HEN!!!!!

I already have 10 roosters. I can't keep anymore and I LOVE this bird!!!

Chickensioux and I paid extra to have these birds sexed before we got them in order to avoid this situation. So far, the hatcheries' ability to sex chicks is in question. Out of 55 chicks, I think a third were roos..... maybe only a fourth. But when we ordered roosters a couple of years ago, we got ALL roosters. Isn't that interesting????

AGH-H-H-H-H!!!!! PJ HAS to be a HEN!!! I'll post a picture of mine as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Hope y'all have a GREAT DAY!!! Mine's not going too well at this point.

Looks like a roo to me.... iirc from what i have seen the males that are barred like taht tend to be a lot lighter then the females. The females are dark dark dark!!

Looking at that chookie...I would bet money that you have a handsome young boy there.

The reason I get so upset each time I get a roo is my neighbors. I have really @#%* neighbors. No covenents, no restrictions, no laws that say I can't have poultry tho'. I have rehomed 4 or 5 roos because I was sure the neighbors were gonna get all stinky because of the crowing. NOT THIS TIME! I am keeping "Jasmin" now Jasper if it's a roo.
