Do I clean it or leave it for winter..

This the inside of my coop. The poop gathered under the perch and I'm wonderng if I fill the coop floor with straw for winter will I still have to clean the row under the perch? I am thinking of trying the deep litter method.

Welcome to BYC . Fancy floor I would start clean . Then put down my litter .Keep the manure away from your walls and they will last longer . So maybe you should move your roost out just a little from the wall .

Definitely clean that up, should be cleaned regularly.
I wouldn't try to do DL on that floor.
What is your climate/location?
