I hatched 2 Mille Fleur D'uccles 3 weeks ago, and I'm super freaked out that they may both be cockerels. They were both repeatedly stretching their necks and making the head movements for crowing, but no sound. They hadn't just eaten, and it seemed different than the crop-adjusting movement. I'll attach pics:
Macklemore, the smaller one. (S)he feathered much slower than her sibling:
Margot, my favorite, and the larger/faster feathering one. (S)he also seems to be braver than Macklemore (Macklemore is on the table in this photo, Margot on the hand):
TIA! I really hope I get at least one pullet, I can't keep roos in the 'burbs.
