Do I have 2 females or is my drake sitting on eggs??? What!!?

I agree that they are both female. The females peep, but once in awhile if provoked, they can make a goose-like sound.
Males have more caruncles, are much larger than females, and make a huff sound. One of my males sounds like he is almost snoring. But, I think that's just him as my other two just huff.

I love your ducks! I have a gender bending muscovy but s/he hasnt produced eggs. Do I understand that Snow started chirping last night? Do you have a photo of Snow's tail shape? How does it compare with Oreo's tale shape? Is there a size difference in your two ducks?

From my limited experience, Snow,'s head does look male compared with the gorgeous looking Oreo. But I would not be certain of Snows sex without looking at Snow's shape and listening to Snow's voice.

Lovely ducks!
Aww thanks.. No one has ever said soo much wonderful stuff about my duckies 😂🦆
Here are more pics I'd like to share. Btw I loved the name Snow but I went with Swan 😝 so the white one is Swan and the black/white is Oreo.
You can also see that Swan is Much larger compared to Oreo

So for sure they are both females?? Is every one sure or any objections? Because I'm about to go and sweep them 10 eggs in the nest and I'd rather they hatch if they are actually fertilised.

Well, I would bet. But, you should be able to discern by the sounds they make to be certain. They look female to me, but I'm not there to hear them.
Have you you tubed the different muscovy sounds? It's very helpful.

It was only upto last night that the white duck started to chirp. Before in 9 months has it not ever made a sound.

That would indicate female. Males huff and do so almost constantly. I like to compare it to a whisper quack. Female muscovies barely make a sound. She probably chirped because shes broody. Males only peep when they are ducklings.

I'll record a video of it soon
You will want to upload it to vimeo or youtube to post here.

Muscovies are different than mallard based ducks. My drakes are constantly huffing. Whereas my females barely make a noise unless I'm bothering them, one of the other ducks are bothering them, or it's like the gossip time of the day and all the muscovy are standing around chatting at the air. 😂

I can't say. I've never let mine sit on unfertilized eggs. I also gather eggs everyday as I can't let anymore hatch. Plus, I can't eat duck eggs.
