Hello,
I just purchased two sultan bantams from Ideal Poultry. One is definitely white and the other is white with a blueish gray back.

"Blue Sultan",

White Sultan,

"Blue" on the right, white on the left.

Oh, I have the same thread on
Breeds, Genetics, & Showing

Just to make sure that I put it in the right category. If I need to remove one just let me know.

I'm guessing it will feather in white. Some white birds have that blue/grey look as chicks and in the show world that is desirable because it is usually indicative of better white color (yes, there are differing shades of white).

my parents got some sultans from ideal and they have turned out very poorly with brown and black developing on their feathers.

It has feathered legs, so definitely not a polish.
Very cute!
OP: You can only have one thread on the topic, so I would remove the other one and keep this one here.
Oh okay. I'll go take the other one off. Thanks. Uhhhh, how do I take it off?

Saw a video about Sultan coloring, and they said that the "colored" ones will eventually feather out white. I'm still hoping though!
