I swear I see saddle feathers and hackle feathers coming in some of the pictures. But other angles look pullet-ish to me.

Still I'm going to say cockerel. I had a Buff O that looked like a pullet until I went out one morning and 'she' had sprouted saddle and hackle feathers literally overnight.

This bird reminds me of that rooster. Sorry, still he's a beautiful boy.

I know the predominant opinion here is cockerel, but I have a young cockerel Buff Orpington right now that is only 2 months old and looks more like a cockerel than that. I say pullet.

I am torn. Posting a pic of my set at 4 months. The difference was definate. She was just starting combs and wattles at 16weeks but he was a definate cockerel. So I’m torn on yours

See that's what I'm talking about. Look at those combs and waddles at 16 weeks! He is handsome!!!
