Do I have a Buff Orpington Roo?

Hello everyone,

I need some help confirming my suspicions that I may have a Buff Orpington rooster. They are almost 17 weeks old. The chicken in question has not made any crowing attempts and instead I have heard egg laying like songs from it. They are not laying yet. Here are some pictures. The one with the large comb is the one I think may be a roo. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for your input. Is it the feather pattern that makes you think roo or the large comb?

Sigh....anyone near Modesto, California need a roo? He is tame and friendly. I ordered a pullet run from McMurray Hatchery. It has been vaccinated against Marek's and Coccidiosis.

He does have male specific saddling though.
