Ok so I have two Dominique's and I realized a while ago that their combs were different but they were so small I thought maybe I was wrong...well they're getting bigger now and I'm noticing they're def different and their tail feathers are also different...So I think I make have a rooster instead of two pullets??? What do you think...

Both of them look like pullets to me. But, Donna may not actually be a Dominique. Since she has a single comb instead of the rose comb that Dominiques should have, she may be a Barred Plymouth Rock instead.

Thanks! This is my first Dominique and they looked so similar as chicks I assumed they were the same breed! I got an "extra" in my order of chicks.

I agree that they are both pullets. a full body shot would help me to be shore though.

Both look like pullets to me, too. And I agree with Wyandottes7 that Donna is probably a Barred Rock, not a Dominique.

Pullets for sure
