Do i have a cockrel?

So my heart got the best of me and i rescued these bullied chicks from a friends coop. I think one is a barred rock and not sure of the white one. Is the rock a roo? I think the white one is a mixed breed pullet, any help would be greatly appreciated. sorry about the poor quality pics

4-sure! He's gonna be a big boy. Every Barred Rock or Dominique rooster I've had were so sweet and gentle and so good to their hens.

Thanks alot, i was afraid of that. i can't have roosters and will have to give him back now that he is in good shape. Is it a rock or dominique? I am new to chickens and can't tell the difference between those two. Also does the white one resemble any single breed?

Your barred bird is not a purebred. If he were pure barred rock or dom, he would be much lighter. This bird looks to have had only one barred parent and it could have been either one. If it came from a hatchery it's probably a black sex link cockerel.

Your white bird could also be a barred mix, I see some weird barring that was also making me think maybe Delaware mix.
