I got this little girl 5 weeks ago. She was the runt and much smaller than all the other chicks I got. She feathered in strangely and I started her on vitamins and hard boiled egg yolk. She finally decided to grow (to shouts of joy from me) but her feathers are just crazy. She is the softest, silkiest chick i have ever held. The guys at the hatchery said she was an Ameraucana, but from what I've read I really just think she is an easter egger. Can she be a frizzle? She doesn't have leg feathers or any kind of tuft on her head. Here she is, Hazel the frizzy chicken:

None of her feathers are normal. Not a single one. Her tail is straight fuzz. We joke that she stuck it in an electrical outlet!

the feathers on her head are finally growing in and so the down is sticking up. She is quite a pretty little girl and SPUNKY too! After having to force feed her vitamins she sure doesn't like to be picked up.

as you can see, her tail end is absolute fuzz. You can't hardly distinguish her tail feathers. A few of her feathers have a little curl to them, but most do not.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!! I can post more pictures if needed.
