Im very pleased. My cockerel's tail is taking forever to grow but his fan is already impressive and Im liking the structure so far. He does have a lovely head though his bumbs on his comb aren't perfectly A-symetrical. I don't know if that matters but I would assume it does. His lobes are a bit on the small side but have a nice round shape. Im hoping it still has some growing to do. His green sheen, as previous poster mentioned, is radiant.

Im heading up to PA to the original breeder this spring to acquire a couple more blues and I have three eggs in the bator which I believe were fathered by my original roo. ...so I think that would benefit my gene pool a bit.

Ryan, do you have any blue red cockerals. I'd love to see a pic of him. Once I get type down, Im thinking I'd like to expand to this color.

My roos are quite the show offs they think the are tuff. They do their little dance around my hand when Im cleaning their feeders and waterers. I wish I would get a new Golden Duckwing cockerel but thats the best one I could get.

What do you think of my Blue Red hen?
