Do I have a Goose?

I bought two young geese almost half a year ago. I was told there were a pair. I was always concerned I might have received two Ganders. This morning I saw them messing with my female duck - one caught her neck, but they didn't really mount her, and I saw a penis picking out of one Gander. I caught the second and tried to check if it was a male but I didn't manage (I never manged to vent sex before). Could it be that I have a pair, or is it for sure two Ganders?

Im afraid there appears to be no certain answer except to say you know you have one gander. Hopefully the appearence of eggs in the Spring will confirm they're a pair. Maybe there's someone closer with experience of vent sexing who could help or have the unknown bird DNA sexed.

Try to see if there are difference in appearence and if their calls are different as females tend to have more bass in their call.
