I didn't order one, but.......this little one sure does look roo-ish. They will be 3 weeks tomorrow. I ordered all pullets, but I am wondering about this one. It's a black Australorp. Comb more developed, stumpy tail feathers (the others have longer tails), stands up tall and has a "large and in charge" attitude. Wing feathers are more skimpy than the others. I can't get a good picture of the legs. I'll try again tomorrow to compare the legs with the other chicks.

Am I right?

Oh no-I have a black Australorp that `looks just like yours! Guess we both got roo's! At least we still have a few that arent roo's (or are much better at hiding the fact!)

ETa- fixing some one-handed spelling, LOL

Well, I kind of wanted a roo (kinda, sorta, maybe) but I would not have bought one deliberately. My closest neighbor has 5 noisy dogs, so I won't feel guilty when Baby Roo starts to crow!

Other neighbor that is within earshot told me three years ago that I should get a roo ! So we'll see how it works out. I think he's the only one out of my 20 chick order from Cackle.
