Do I have a Pullet?

Can anyone help me confirm if this is a pullet? It was given to me a few weeks ago , approx. 8 weeks old. If it's a Pullet, is it a copper maran? Any information would be helpful, Thanks in advance!

I am by no means an expert, and haven't really dealt with copper marans, but it is very reminiscent of a black sex link hen I have. Beautiful bird!

The feathered legs say it is not a black sex link.
I think it is a hatchery quality Black Copper Marans.
With how red the comb is at 8 weeks, I would say it's a cockerel. How sure are you about the age?

I'm not certain on the age at all, I was given a couple black chicks on the fourth of July weekend and had another with a huge comb than began crowing.

I gave away the Cockerel & kept the one I posted earlier. Here's a picture to show the 2 together..

I agree, cockerel. That's way too much red on the face for an eight week old pullet. Pretty bird!
