Anyway I emailed him (from a different email address so he doesn't know it is me) and I asked him why he is selling and he said because he has to many hens!!
The ad for her is down and now he has 3 other hens for sale so I guess he decided chickens aren't for him.

He's probably a "chicken flipper"....at least that's what some of us call them. They go around and get free or cheap birds and turn around and resell them. There's are several people who do that at the local poultry auction....buy the cheap birds with plans to resell them. One guy takes them down to the Oklahoma City area and I'm not sure where the others resell at.
