My apologies for hijacking your post. But I have 4 RIR. They are about 10 weeks old. Probably too early to tell but could these be pullets or roosters. I can tell so easily with my Astrolop but not these.

Try going to 'Forums', and clicking the 'what breed or gender' forum. Then click 'post new thread' in the top right corner. Post the age of your birds, and individual pictures of each ones comb.
