Should be any shade of green. Some EEs lay light blue, though I think they're closer related to Aracaunas.

Definitely an EE. I love her coloring! (and as mentioned they lay anywhere from blueish eggs to greenish to tan/slate grey)



BTW - Do you know what breed your red hen in the picture is? She looks a lot like 2 of my girls, which I am a bit unsure on [breed-wise].

Do I have an Americauna?? Yes you have an Americauna = Easter egger. Americauna is a hatcheries name for trying to pass off mutts for a real breed.


These are different than an AmerAUcana.
