Hey Guys,
So My Button babies are just over two weeks old now, and I was wondering if I have their colors correct.

Key:
Cin = Cinnimon
Darth = Darth Vader (aka Golden Red Breasted)
Wild
Silv = Silver
??? = it's lighter than the ones I think are Cinnimons, could it be a Carmel?

Not good enough pic to really tell but the light one looks cinnamon. It could be ivory (cinnamon + silver) and that's why it looks so light but most of my ivory were more easily mistaken for silvers than cinnamons when young. Otherwise some cinnamons do just come out lighter than others. It may have to do with what other genes they are carrying that aren't noticeable. The one marked "wild" behind that one is a blue face. It could be blue face on "wild" aka blue breasted, red breasted, or golden pearl. It's hard to tell since it darkens them to nearly one solid shade.

The one with the ??? Looks cinnamon to me
The ones that are marked darth are red breasted they are to dark to be darth's. The one on the left behind the ??? Looks like it is a golden pearl the one one the right is a blue face. I am with akane the picture is dark and hard to see better pictures would help

Ok, I'm not sure these pics are much better, but I seperated them into groups, so maybe it's easier to tell colors. The reason I thought they were the colors I did, is because of chick color, but now that they are feathering out, their colors are so different from one another. But again they are only just over 2 weeks old, so maybe it's still to early to tell for sure, but any help is much appriciated!

Here are the ones I was calling Cinnimon.

Cinnamons all look cinnamon
Darth vader are red breasted they are to dark to be the golden red breasted
Silver looks like it is a slate will have to get a little bigger to tell
In the wilds the middle one looks like a blue face

Hope that helps

I agree with Crystal, except that the cinnies look like my blueface cinnamons. My "normal" cinnamons looked totally different. Granted, I've never had a cinnamon blueface hen, and I've never had a normal cinnamon roo, lol.

When cinnamons are that young I group them all together until they show more colors. Thou they look more pearl cinnamon to me right now. Then again I am looking at a tiny little phone screen LOL

The one in back is a wild type blue breasted with cinnamon hen. You can tell by the lines down the feathers instead of the barring on the ends. The 2 to the right I'm not sure. It's very easy to tell blue faced chicks and fully feathered blue face adults. This in between stage can cause some odd color changes. While one looks kind of like my blue face cinnamon hen the other strikes me as too light and they both have rather light areas but they could just be males which will get some solid white wing feathers while they are changing colors. Wait a few weeks. If they have other genes the cinnamon color will fade to show those genes. If they have blue face they'll turn a more chocolate color. If they have nothing but cinnamon they'll remain mostly cinnamon.

Next color those 3 are normal red breasted hens.

That silver is not just silver. It's got cinnamon tones to it. It's probably ivory. I don't think it quite looks slate but could be which would mean it's carrying blue face, silver, and cinnamon at minimum. It could also carry red breasted which will show if it's male. I've had lots of ivory red breasteds. I have a red breasted slate cinnamon male which is really cool. Slate grey feathers with cinnamon tips and a rose colored breast. He's currently with my blue face cinnamon hen and double factor blue face hen.

Bottom 3 are 2 blue breasted males and a single factor blue face. I want to say blue face on red breasted by the barring of the feathers but I haven't seen blue face on wild type so I'm not sure if the different barring holds true with those like it does on silvers and cinnamons.
