Hello there,

I currently have five seramas in a run of 28 foot square. I've read that seramas need three square feet of run space each which would make it 15 square feet. That leaves another 13 square feet - do you think I have room for a couple of araucana bantams.

Best wishes

I have 7 chickens on a plot of 32 sq ft ( large fowl ) and people are telling me that it is way too small so I think your might be a little small.

Is your coop OR your run 28 s.f. If it's the coop, NO WAY! You are already maxed out. If your run is only 28 s.f. you already have a huge overcrowding issue. When, not if, such crowding will result in behavioral issues including terrorizing the weaker flock members, feather picking, blood shed, leading up to cannibalization.

I don't think I do have a huge overcrowding issue as very often seramas are kept in rabbit hutches - do you actually know how small seramas are?? I won't be adding to them but I do think that your reply rather aggressive.

Many thanks
