Do I have to put my chickens up at night?

I have 5 two month old chickens who refuse to go into the hen house at night. They are in a garden coop that is reinforced and has buried hardware mesh around the bottom to keep out digging predators. I feel like they are pretty safe at night. That said, I can't figure out why they won't go in their hen house. They play on the ladder during the day but will not spend time in the house. It is well ventilated. They also aren't into roosting except for one. Any help on this would be appreciated. I think they would be more comfortable in the comfy hen house instead of on the ground.

EDIT: I added some images of the coop, hen house, and my ladies.

Some chickens prefer roosting on the ground. Two of our silkies just started doing that. Also, if you post a couple photos of your coop, you might get some feedback that could be preventing your hens from using the coop.

My Silkies sleep in a 4 foot long wooden box on it's side, filled with straw that spills out about 2-3 feet. They are very comfortable.
