I know regular horse lifespan. How is it for the minis? and how old is he?

This is a replica of the Pinta. I have been aboard it about 25 years ago when it was docked in the Mississippi, at Prairie du Chien Wisconsin.

Minis usually die from founder if not properly managed. They need very little food and if put on a pasture have to wear a grazing muzzle at all times. Putt-Putt is in his late 20s or early 30s. When younger he was allowed limited turnout on pasture. He spent most of his time in a dry lot with hay.
