Do I HAVE to worm my peacocks?

Thanks, I'll be keeping them wormed I guess. I am just very cautious as to doing it the right way and not permanently damaging my beautiful birds. I'll be reading up on all the posts on here on how to do it right. I've already read conflicting statements, somebody says Safeguard is water soluble, then another person says give it to them directly in the mouth.....I'll use my best judgement. Thanks again for the input

I have two peacocks and one peahen.1year old are they. I want to deworm them. I purchase levamisol bp 500mg.soluable in a water . as per instruction on it 1gm for 25kg. I guess my peacocks altogether weighted approx 10 to 12kg. Plz guide me if I use 0.5grm but what should be the water level

We would need to know how much water is to be added per instructions to use the entire package to achieve the 500mg level of active ingredients. Is it based on gallons of water to add to entire packet? The 500mg is the active dry ingredient, much as like a 12.5% solution has 12.5% of the medicine added in a known amount of liquid. But if two times the amount of carrier liquid is used your cutting the percentage of the active ingredients down to 6.25%.

Finally I worm my peacocks. Using 0.5g in 140 ml water they dirnk the water. At evening I notice a pure white color droppings of my peacock. What that means is it good.
And what should I feed them after worming
