do i have two females laying in one nest?

Hi,
i have this pair of brown ringnecks, i suppose they are male and female. Now, the last clutch that hatched from them was 2 babies one was brown while the one was white with a few brown feather (pied) its been driving me crazy trying to figure out why this pair of brown doves had a white dove, when in fact these eggs were layed by them, i know that there wasnt another dove that dropped an egg in there nest.
So my guess is that this pair must be two females, especially because the last babies they had are now big enough to take care of themselves, and now they made another nest and layed a total of 4 eggs, a male and female should only lay 2 eggs so there is a good chance their 2 females. I have only two whitish doves or pied in the cage so that bird probably mated with one of the brown ones.
Its a little confusing though, not 100% sure their both females.

I'm actually looking forward to this hatch of 4 eggs i cant imagine having 4 dove babies in one nest, i never had my doves do this for as long as i had them, i guess its pretty rare though to have that many at one time.

4 eggs yep, two females. See this many times with pigeons.

You may luck out if a male had mated with one also. As alot of the males will knock another bird off and mate in his place.

Reason breeders of high dollar racers raise them in pair only pens.
