Do I integrate a separated chick?

I have one out of ten chicks that came down ill. She started walking around like she was drunk, very unbalanced, and did not grow as large as the rest. I separated her out from the group early on. She is now 7 weeks old and has grown more (although is half the size of the others at the same age), has constant diarrhea, and sneezes frequently. Her balance seems to have come back and otherwise appears like any other of the chicks.

Is it safe at this point to integrate her with the rest? I feel badly that she is living in a brooder in the basement still, all by herself. I do try to get her outside to walk around a couple of hours a day.

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

not an expert by any definition... but the bird still sounds sick. at the risk of affecting the rest of the flock, i'd keep it separated.

good luck!

Constant diarrhea and sneezing isn't normal in any age in a chick/chicken. She/he is still sick. If you don't decide to treat/take to the vet then I suggest you cull. Bringing a sick chick/chicken into your flock will just cause you more problems and money.
