do i need a tom/jake turkey in order to get eggs

i was wondering i have 3 hens that lay eggs but i also have a tom who has "easy acsses" to them. my question is if i sell the tom will the hens continue to lay. like chickens i know you dont need a rooster to have the hens lay eggs

I used to have a hen without a tom. She only laid eggs when she was collecting them to sit on...we had to watch her bc she would go into the woods and sit on like 24 eggs.
