Do I need to add Oyster shells?

We got our first egg today do we need to add oyster shells to their diet? Or only if soft shell eggs show up? First egg was small but hard!

With us, we do not put in oyster shell. I think it has enough calcium in the Layer feed. I do
feed their shells back to them. It is almost pure calcium. I just crunch them up to tiny bits so it does not have an egg shape. Then, I put the crushed shells near their feed. They
think it is a treat.
