Do I need to feed my chickens more protein during the molting process?

With 60 hens this molting process is taking forever and it is getting in the 20s at night , so I wish they would hurry and get their feathers back. I don't think it is bothering them as much as it is me!

If it's really cold at night, provide a brooder lamp for them hanging over the roosts. Keep the drafts off them. Supplement water with vitamins & minerals. Avian Super Pack is an excellent product for this. Give them some scratch in the afternoon so it helps their bodies produce heat at night. Give them game bird crumbles or a 20% protein ration during the day.
