Do I need to give niacin if my ducks are on duck feed?

So I need some advice - I mixed nutritional yeast in with my duck's feed and it seems they are picking out the pellets and leaving the yeast flakes. Is this common and is it a problem? Can ducks tell if yeast flakes have gone bad? Also, they seem to prefer eating grass and other vegetation over the duck feed. What do you think I should do?

I'd keep doing what your doing they may not be eating it all but they are getting some niacin from the feed and NY. You could also try making Fermented Feed for them that way the NY is mixed in real well.
