Do I really have that bad of luck? lots of pictures of the EE's

I got a picture of my EE Rusty at 10 weeks. I'm pretty sure he's a boy now because he has hackle feathers growing out. He is the smallest of 3 roosters and his plumage is a little tattered. He's a really nice little pet. He perches on my arm.

Yup, Rusty is a boy. And EEs and Ameraucanas really do not have wattles, so you can't go by that anyway.

Ok, with the Barred Rock, Im going to say Cuckoo Maran just because her legs look more on the pink/white color, and they said mine were CM because of the leg color is there anyway you can tell the diff. between the two breeds other than the leg color? Am I missing something.

The CMs haven't started laying yet but I will watch out for the egg color thanks! My barred rock girl (Bonnie) hasn't started laying yet either but she should start in the next couple of weeks, can't wait to compare the two. Thanks so much for the info!

My cuckoo maran has white legs, and lays dark golden/chocolate colored eggs that can have speckles on them.

As for the OP's EE's.. EE's do not have wattles, and the pictures you posted doesn't show it's head!

You have a Buff Orp and a Cuckoo Maran.
