Do I Still Need the Brooder

Hello,

My baby chicks are 12 days old: all females (4 Easter Eggers & 4 buff Orpingtons). I have them in an insulated shed. I do have a thermometer in there and it is just about 100 degrees. I also have a brooder heater as well. They are very active, running around and eating. I also live in Florida where the temperature hasn't been lower that 90 degrees in months. Do I still need to use the brooder heater? I can't adjust it down the 5 degrees and I have read; to where is would be 85 degrees. Do you think that it is okay for me to turn it off? If I do turn it off, I will still leave it there so that they can go under it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

TIA
