i am new at this so im not to sure,they have a lot a room to move around in and also an inclosed pen they can come in an out of

If you collect the eggs daily, it would not be necessary. We let our hens go "broody" at the end of the season, because have found that they seem to almost quit laying for several weeks of their season and sometimes will not start laying again..

Now, the other thing is that if you don't collect eggs and the hen is not broody, then the eggs will go bad.

We have not removed our jakes from the hens because they are super large enclosures and have plenty of room apart from them if needed.

ok so what ur saying is to take my tom out and then just let her sit an hatch them,.or if i take them from her do i have to incubate them and how long can i keep them from her before they go bad.and if she is sitting on them well,then they should be ok right,
