Do I tough out broody or break her!?

My local Grange is getting a fall order of chicks starting in September. Check with your feed store and see what their plans are. You want to be fairly close to the 21 day mark to give her eggs, and the chicks as young as possible. That's a good way to do it, because you're getting sexed pullets and hopefully don't have to deal with roosters.
 
I would say it depends where you live, here in Wisconsin I would not be hatching eggs, it will be too cold too soon, so it matters where you are located, don't let enabler talk you into hatching unless you want more, and you want half roosters.

We live in Oregon in the Willamette Valley (wine country). I would hatch. Just looks like I don't have the resources to do it.
 
I may just do the baby chick thing. And prob only get 1 or 2. Anyone have articles or threads I can read for research?
