I got 2 hens without feathers. One has none on belly the other is missing feathers under wing. I'm not sure how to even ask what's going on with them. Any kind of help of them. I really hate to see them suffer. But I'm also not sure what's going on with them. Help please!

Do they have a roost to perch on at night? Just a thought, I'm not an expert,I think if they are not on a roost at night it may contribute to lose of feathers on the belly.

Well it looks like the one that has feathers off from under wing has big cuts on her. The other one just has missing feathers on belly but she act like she's sick-- her comb lays down, weak, kind of like she's lost. We have leghorns. They got a perch but I don't know what's causing them to get injured. Or if they are getting sick

Thanks

Are those the only chickens you have? Do you ever see they fighting each other? Or maybe cats giving them a bad time. Have you examined them well, for wounds, mites, lice? Maybe if you posted photos we could get a better grasp of the situation.

I got 11---2 roosters 9 hens (did have 12 but one died I think that they sat on her). Not 100% sure on this but I think that they might be injury themselves by huddling together at night, is that possible? Cause when I went out to the coop to check on them tonight they was all in a corner. If so how can I get them to spread out? I'm new at raising chickens.

Like what kind of things do I look for if they have mites or lice? The one is injured. A couple days ago under her wing look like there was 3 big claw marks Today she looks like she's loosing her wing. The more I watch them the more I can kind of put together what maybe happing to them. I checked their pen for possible digging under fence or any other kind of entrance I don't see any. I'll post pics when I get home tomorrow. Thanks for all the information everyone's giving to me. I'm new at this. And any advise I will use. Thought that raising chickens was easy to raise(Hahaha)
