I posted a picture of my darling with bumble foot last night. When putting her to bed I noticed her bill was warm. I immediately thought oh no the infection. This morning when letting them out of their house I checked to see how warm each of the 5 ducks' bills were. 3 felt normal, but the khaki (one with bumblefoot) and the Pekin hen both had warm bills.
Could this be the fact they are the layers (both give me an egg each morning). Or is a vet needed? The other female, a Mallard isn't laying yet and her bill fell cool like the two drakes
