Do leghorns breed true?

Hey! I have white leghorns in Canada from the hatchery (apparently they are hybrids…whatever that means).
I also got a white leghorn rooster, will they breed true and be prolific layers? Thanks.

Leghorns are a heritage breed and will breed true. They aren't hybrids, so they were either miss labeled or they aren't actually leghorns. How prolific they are in laying depends on the strain, but they should be good layers.
