do loud chicks make loud chickens?

i wonder if you have a particularly loud chick...will it grow to be a loud hen?

I hope not. One of our three was LOUD. I'm talking I-can-hear-her-outside-my-apartment loud. She seems to have settled down for now. We'll see how she is when she goes outside.

I had one last year we named "Chirpy" because she was very loud and NEVER seemed to shut up. She even peeped a bit in her sleep! But she grew up into a very quiet bird. She doesnt even do an "egg song", never clucks when I bring treats... only time I hear her make noise now is when they are getting up onto the roosts and she does a few gentle clucks to call the rooster up as she settles in.
