Hello! Welcome to BYC!! I've seen my chickens run grown cats off, but never attack them. From the link DobieLover posted they are capable of that and more.

Hey, welcome! And yes, many chickens can chase and eventually kill young cats. I haven't actually witnessed it first-hand, but I know people who have had their cats beaten up badly.
