Do most of you keep your bantams separate from standard-size fowl?

I have a mixed flock too and for the most part it's fine. The banties aren't even at the bottom. From top down it goes BLRW, Bantam Cochins, EEs.

I have to second the silky roosters being mean. They are in my experience hands down the meanest roosters I've ever owned. This includes my fighting game roosters.

I have br, rir & bo plus 2 little yr old banty hens. Had to separate them because from the bigger breeds because they were getting picked on consistently. They are now destined for the slow cooker if they don't start laying...

I have to agree. I have three silkies and an unidentified bantam cockerel in my run. Watched some newly introduced buff orpingtons go after them and them little guys know they are smaller and faster than them.
