Do my 3 week old chicks and ducklings need the same type grit?....

i am going to the store tomorow...to buy them all some feed and grit....but i read somewhere on here that chicks need a parakeet type grit to start..what about my ducklings?..they are soooo much bigger than my chicks..so do i give them the same grit?..Thanks, Wendy

I gave both my ducklings and chicks chick grit from the feed store. It came in a little 5# bag, and was the perfect size to last until they were big enough to go out in the world and find their own grit. The pieces were about 1-2mm across.
