I'm trying to raise my little flock free of chemicals. I have been reading so much on this site lately and now I'm paranoid about worms or parasites. This morning I found this poop that looked sort of like spit. I don't know if this is normal or if it is a sign of something more worrysome. I put some oregano oil in their food and a few drops in their water as I hear this is a good way to naturally combat internal parasites. Does this poop look normal or can anyone give me some suggestions on this topic?

Foamy poops are a sign of worms. Some believe pumpkin seeds may help prevent and/or treat worms. I don't know many other natural treatments to internal parasites because I've read that most of them don't work.

I hope your solution works, if it doesn't you should try worming with Valbazen or Safeguard. It's not a natural treatment, but it will help the hens from suffering. Worms take away nutrients from the chicken food that is supposed to go to the chickens, resulting in a vitamin deficiency.

Good luck.
