Hate you?! No they don't hate you. scared spit-less, YES! By the sounds of it your doing everything you need to to socialize them. but they are leghorns as already stated. Treats treats treats. I have 3 5 week old blue silkies. we call them the "blue devils" they run screaming and freak out all the time, treats or no treats!
