Do not mix Delawares?

I wanted to put them with a Jersey Giant, and two Blue favaucanas. They have been together since birth in the same brooder. So I don't get it either. I have two Cream Legbars coming and another blue Favaucana, but I want to put the two Cream Legbars in the small coop together. However I have heard that cream Legbars do not like to be crowded, I don't know about a small coop?....what do you think?

I have one Delaware in with my mixed flock and she does fine with everyone. Just curious about your Favaucana... Did you get them from My Pet Chicken? I was thinking about getting some next year and was wondering how you like them? If you have pics to share I won't complain either. ;-)

This is Tyrian. She is so friendly and active! she flies right out of the brooder and onto my arm or my leg, she know NO fear. She has more of the BLUE coloring that she is supposed to have. I got them from My Pet Chicken, they say that they breed Faverolles with Americanas. So far I am very happy with both of them. The second one has some brown in her coloring, but it is hard to see unless she is in the direct sunlight (As shown) her name is Feisty. Right now she is in love with the roosting pole. Unfortunately they are right in that ugly phase. I will post more pictures in a month or so, then we will have a better idea of what color they will be as adults. My Pet Chicken warned that they "BLUE" color may end up as a splash. I wouldn't mind. Their hairy legs crack me up.

They are very sweet. I'm raising blue Orpingtons right now so I know about the BBS thing... I.e. Blue, black, or splash. I like all those colors so it's no problem for me. It will be interesting to see how they turn out, so keep us posted!

I was looking at the second chick and it looks like she is black with gold bleed through? Should be interesting to see how she turns out...
