I have four 19 week old chickens. One from each of the following breeds: Buff Orpington, Plymouth Rocker, Gold Laced Wyandotte and an Australorp. They are still on chick feed and we will be transitioning to layer feed in the next few days. The Orpington is considerably smaller than the other 3. She seems fine and has access to plenty of food. Do they mature more slowly?

Yes, mine do and they are the last to lay.
