Help Identifying Thai / Oriental Gamefowl Type for Future Breeding Consistency

Hello,
I’m looking for help identifying the general type or strain of this rooster so I can better understand what to look for moving forward.

He was hatched from eggs given to me as “Thai Game Fowl,” but the original owner did not have detailed background information on the line except he was gifted birds many years ago that where "Thai Game Fowl" and hes kept them since.

He is approximately 8 months old, stands about 24 inches at the top of the head in a normal stance, and weighs probably about 6–7 pounds. Structurally, he has a tall upright carriage, long legs, tight feathering, and a lean, athletic build.

He was hatched alongside:

• Two hens with similar white/gold coloration
• Two black hens
• Two brown/spotted hens

Temperament-wise, he is calm with people. Within the flock, he typically avoids confrontation at first, but if repeatedly challenged he responds assertively. I have since separated him with his hens to prevent injury.

I’m trying to determine whether he aligns more with a specific Thai strain, a Northern/Southeast Asian type, or if he appears to be a mixed Oriental gamefowl.

My goal is to identify his structural type so I can seek similar birds in the future.

Any structural or regional insight would be appreciated.

As far as I know there's no specific strain of Thai Gamefowl.
He's pretty though.

I did a google search on Thai game fowl, and AI gave a brief explanation, but it seems a lot more complicated than the information they have on the topic.

I did find some pictures, but to me the different types all look pretty similar. I'll post a few of the pictures I found.

Basically, I think this will take a great deal of research, and maybe someone to translate Thai into English. It might be better to just call them Thai game fowl and leave it at that, unless you like a challenge.

At least I know there are different strains of Thai Games now. These strains have names similar to the Chinese Gamefowl strains I've seen.

I was not even sure they were Thai Game Fowl, there are other breeds that to be are sort of this same "Type" that I do not have the eye or knowledge to identify. I thought maybe he could be something else all together. I wanted a couple more and do not have access to the original stock. I can breed these if needed, but really wanted an unrelated line.

Thai game fowl of some kind seems right to me, but I am far from an expert on Asian game fowl.

I would try to find different stock to breed these with because they may be siblings. If you get unrelated stock you could line breed them. The rooster especially is beautiful.

You could also cross with other types of game fowl if you can't find more Thais.
