Do other color Coturnix preform as well as normal ones?

In my small flock of "Normal" color quail have hatched out one Rosella Tuxedo and one with normal colors and white wings. And of course they are the ones that draw the eyes because they stand out.

So have started thinking of getting some different colors to go with the rest but do the fancier colors lay an egg per day and get to eating size in 8 weeks like my other ones do?

I dont want to sacrifice performance for pretty but would like a bit more variety

What I have found is that they are a little slower to lay, and a little more finicky, sometimes not as big as jumbos (well, all the time they are smaller!)

BUT

I also have tibetans that lay just as many eggs daily/at the same time as my browns and goldens. I would say they are equal. Maybe another week to wait before eggs, but it would be worth it, right?
