Ha! My children still think I'm VERY weird for even bringing up BYC in casual conversations (I'm getting the word around

).

They still think we're not moving into the country, even though they can see boxes slowly accumilating in certain rooms, and things are starting to be missed

.

Maybe after we get our chicks, they'll "come around"

I was thinking the same thing! Once you get the little fuzzybutts, it's almost impossible not to like chickens!

My original post was stimulated by a few posts that I was reading that were just written by exceptionally young, or what seemed like exceptionally young children. They are on here making business deals about selling/buying chickens, and I got to thinking "do these parent's know they are on here doing business?" Hence the OP...

I'm glad to see all the young people on here- Gives Myspace a break- My kids love myspace. Wish they would get on here for a change. They said they love our chickens but don't want to talk about them all day.

One of the reasons I love BYC is because it's real, nice people trying to help each other out. You don't find many sites like that, with this large of a member population! It's so pleasant.
