Do Pekin Ducks need water to mate?

I don't know how they manage to mate at all, they make walking look so difficult LOL

they will breed in and out of the water the pool you have will be fine alot of times the first hatch or two will not be fertile exspecially when they are that young of a bird almost too young to be a mature breeder

Thanks, i'll give them another month or so and see how the eggs are then. I'm surprised by how many eggs they lay. Since they started a couple of weeks ago, I have had an egg from each of them every day.
