Do Pilgrim geese all have blue eyes?

Oh, that would be great if it were a toulouse. I have a pair and want to keep a third for back up reasons so no one gets lonely should one get hurt/die. The white geese seem large to me, but I have no full grown Toulouse yet to compare. The geese he had were all running together. If my memory serves me right, they seemed close in size anyway. Right now I can tell you that this years goslings...all 3 I got from him and the 2 Toulouse I got from elsewhere (all hatched this year)are almost as big as the white "2 year old" geese. When are they at their adult sizes? I don't have exact dates to go by, just that I know they are from this year.

ETA....the one grey one is so similar to the other 2 toulouse I have that I can only tell them apart by behavior...do you know if all pilgrim females get some white with age?

I don't know that they necessarily have to have white but they should.

I don't know that they necessarily have to have white but they should. But female pilgrims should have pink beaks and feet.

Ok, so I'm gonna assume she is more toulouse...none of them have "pink" bills ...the legs and feet of the older ones are kinda different colored though. I'm not sure what "pink" looks like...have any photos?

I'm sorry, I was just looking online to see pics and I guess they are supposed to have orange bills and feet. I don't know why I was thinking pink...sorry.
I still think your baby looks like a toulouse, and your adult 'pair' is not a pair (though the one with a small knob could be female) and probably not pilgrim.

Sorry
, the pomeranians are the ones with pink bills and feet.

Sorry to pick your brain..

but ok, say the white adult is a girl...(the one with a knob) why would the other have been the first one to try to rear the goslings when introduced?
I swear, this makes me DETERMINED to only sell what I KNOW....so other people know what they have!! As for the "pink bill" thing...lol...I have been so confused about the geese from the get-go, I fully understand! I am not even 100 % my Toulouse are a apir....because I only have a young girls say so as to them being male and female!

Ganders are more likely to take over rearing 'orphaned' goslings believe it or not. My female didn't like the 'new' babies at all when I got mine.

This is poppa Embden protecting 'his' babies:

And the same gander trying to 'steal' babies away from my son (videos):

And my 5 ganders protecting 'their' babies last year...this was before I finally got an Embden female

Boy, that's cute

But your embden male looks sooo much like one of my adults....the one that has the darker bill. I think I will have to keep a young white one and the young grey one to see what they turn out like after a molt. I don't know why but this is killing me to know...LOL...
Interesting about the males...

Your young one:

Looks very similar to my young Embden females:

ETA: I would say he probably had Embden and Toulouse, and apparently Chinese because of the one with a knob.

OMG...you're right....LOL...wouldn't that be a hoot if the ones we were convinced had to be 2 male pilgrims were the girls! So maybe they are Embden....how do people tell what breeds geese are...they all look so similar!

ETA: What color eyes do your embdens have?

They have blue eyes. Chinese, Sebastopols (I think just the white ones but I'm not sure), Embdens, and male pilgrims have blue eyes.

My girls will eventually be totally white, they are still babies

Thank you so much for the help. I'm gonna get a good close look at them tomorrow and compare....maybe I can post some better new pics tomorrow for you to look at? I'll try to get one of each individually.I think you may be right...they may be embdens and a Toulouse or Toulouse mix.

ETA the pics on here are a couple months old. I'll get some for size comparison too...
