Do pygmy goats like to be alone?

hi i was thinking of purchasing a pygmy goat and i was wondering if they liked to have another pygmy goat friend or does it matter?

Pygmy goats get lonely if they are the only goat , its always best to atleast 2 .

Having raised pygmy goats for several years I can tell you that if you get just one you will probablly have trouble. They are a herd animal and one by itself will tend to be noisy and may get out trying to find a friend.

Goats do not do well by themselves. A single goat is lonely and miserable. And it will make you miserable too. It will holler and it will work to escape its pen to look for company. If you get just one goat you will be sorry!!
